04/17 Rosie Daze Band "Nobody Here But Us" Album Release Show

$10.00

Riding the wave of their first season and first recording Due North 2024, the Minneapolis-based Bluegrass/ Old Time/ Folk/ all-women band, Rosie Daze was back in studio to record their sophomore year efforts, Nobody Here But Us, due for release ahead of the Bold North festival season, Spring 2025. Recorded and mixed with the great Tony Willamette at Minnehaha Recording Company. Nobody Here But Us showcases the band’s work from 2024 and new songs that will be highlighted in the coming year. Their performances have roots in country, folk, bluegrass, and old-time traditions, delivered with a little saunter and harmonies dipped in sass and sprinkled with spice. The Rosie Daze Band brings “soulful yearning” to the table and lets you feast! Evonne “Boom” Bilotta-Burke writes music that you want to revisit like the bedtime stories of your youth. Jeanne Marti lends a high lonesome voice nurtured over time in her family band that just about breaks your heart. Johnna Lawrence, Beth Young, and Adelle Hyrkas hand out goosebumps during each and every set with harmonies that add depth, and Julie Kittleson holds down the low end to add richness to every note. Adding to that, the energy and joy the band brings to their performances, well it leaves the audience with all the feels each and every time. Overheard from fans- “I grew up in the Smokey Mountains, and tonight you all made me homesick.”
