Singer Songwriters, friends, and 1966 Fire Horses, Kari Tauring and Wendy Rule will be together at the Bryant Lake Bowl Theater for an intimate evening of guitars, bone flutes, vocals, storytelling, and poetry. You won’t want to miss these two in concert.
Kari and Wendy first sang together at the Cedar Cultural Center in Minneapolis in 2008. Their two sets dovetailed in a beautiful way and they quickly planned for more concerts. As a full time touring musician, Wendy made Minneapolis a joyful stop in the upper midwest. With concerts at festivals and at Paganicon, the large pagan conference held in Minneapolis each year, the two have grown their friendship over the last 15 years.
Born in Australia, Wendy Rule comes to Minneapolis from her home called Meadowlark in New Mexico. Also the title of her new musical release, Meadowlark will be available for purchase after the concert.
Kari Tauring is known especially for her Winter Solstice ritual shows at the Bryant Lake Bowl Theater. She will share the Iron Age instruments of bone and tree she made in Denmark and Norway during her 2023 Viking Connection Apprenticeship along with some old favorites from her singer songwriter guitar playing days.
Tickets are $20 in Advance / $25 at the Door. Doors open at 6PM.
