Theater of Public Policy: Transit and Sewers and Zoning, Oh My!

With Special Guest: Charlie Zelle,

Chair, Metropolitan CouncilLove it or hate it, the Metropolitan Council touches the lives of everyone who lives or works in the seven-county metro. The body’s charge is to coordinate or run everything from buses and trains in the region to sewer systems. They have a huge role to play in how our cities grow and develop. Though exactly how much power the Council has (or should have) is a perennial debate. We will ask new Met Council Chair Charlie Zelle about overseeing this massive organization and whether he thinks zoning is sexy.
