The Riff Rangers are all about delicious, musical fun!

This talented quintet, led by Twin Cities guitarist/vocalist Dale Dahlquist, perform a wide variety of toe tappin’ genres on guitar, bass and drums. Rich 3-part harmony is standard fare thanks to featured vocalists Kristen Olsen Rodriguez and Rhiannon Fiskradatz.

Bassist Dik “His lowness” Hedlund (Bonnie Raitt, Al Jarreau, Chuck Berry, Doug Maynard, A Prairie Home Companion band), and drummer Will Kemperman (University of St. Thomas & Hamline University percussion faculty) create the rhythm fun.

Western swing, vintage folk & rock classics, Big Band swing, Chicago blues and a wee bit of Irish make up the diverse pallette of sounds that is The Riff Rangers. You’ll hear delightful renditions of tunes by Bonnie Raitt, Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys, Little Walter, Eric Clapton, Linda Ronstadt, Simon & Garfunkel, Cole Porter, The Beatles, Neil Young, John Prine, The Band,

Duke Ellington and The Mills Brothers to name a few.

Snappy arrangements, tight vocals, and dry humor are hallmarks of The Riff Rangers.
