Improv inspired by local music.
The Local Music Scene is an improv show that uses live music performed by local musicians as inspiration for improvised, comedic scenes. It is produced and hosted by Philip Simondet and directed by Sarah Arnold-Simondet, and has been running monthly at Bryant Lake Bowl since 2015.
MUSICAL GUEST: SOCKTOPUS
Socktopus are a R&B/Hip-hop/Pop group based out of Minneapolis/Saint Paul.
They formed in the winter of 2020 and have since hosted a residency from June to October in 2020 and have performed alongside Carnage the Executioner as well as Hiahli (Fargo).
They have also performed at Galactic Get Down's space-themed music festival and will be performing at Big Turn Music Festival in February 2023. Their second album release is scheduled for March 2023.
