Stock Soup

  • Bryant Lake Bowl 810 W Lake St Minneapolis United States (map)

Chaos ensues when several aspiring stockbrokers accidentally sell the wrong stock to thousands of investors. Instead of fixing their mistake, they rest their hopes on a talented but camera-shy aspiring internet star and attempt to keep this secret from their demanding boss and an evil housemother. This absurd comedic farce contains delicious misunderstandings of the stock market, the internet, and language itself.

Written by Kyle Munshower and directed by Kevin Duong, this is the third original, full-length play by Spiral Theater, and here's what audiences have said in the past:

“This is a silly play full of silly people doing silly things (in a good way).”

“[The] script is jam-packed with jokes that are both elliptically clever and so dumb that they actually come around again to being clever.”

“There's a fine line between clever and stupid, and this is it.”

“One of the funniest things I've seen at the Fringe in a long time”
