It’s true that our fairy tales are, you know, grim (see Cinderella and that whole cutting the foot off section), but after last November, those first 100 days, the gutting of our civil and human rights not to mention the continuing attack on reproductive health . . . wait, what were we talking about? Oh right. The monsters are not just in the woods and “happily ever after” looks different now. With their signature style of story, song and spells, Songversations presents “We have been told to stay out of the woods” a ceremonial cabaret of resistance and yes, even joy. Join us in the woods this March because that’s where we have belonged the whole time.
