The Empty Space Collective (ESC) is a loose association of like-minded misfit artists responsible for some of the most obscure, yet highly praised theatrical works of the last twenty years. Independently produced ESC works include Gangster No. 1 (“An unflinching, intriguing trip to the dark side.”–Pioneer Press), Fnu Lnu (“For audiences seeking really new experiences in theater, this one gets my strongest possible recommendation!!”– Rick Burkhardt, Obie Award winning artist), The Grand National (“intimately personal, yet thematically universal”–Twin Cities Performance Art Examiner), Good Clown, Bad Clown (“absolute favorite BLB show of the past year.”–City Pages) and The Fever (“rends the heart to pieces like shrapnel, sends the body chills, and blasts open the mind...
