Come on down to see some amazing local alternative groups. Almost a repeat of the Spaceport record release show that happened with Loud Sun at Bryant Lake Bowl last spring.
Loud Sun is a personal favorite of mine. Fronted by the multi-instrumentalist Andrew Jansen, also a member of Crimes, Loud Sun enchants the listener with the texture rich/lo-fi songwriting.
Spaceport came on the scene recently but have made quite the entrance with their new record "Window Seat". Coincidentally, "Window Seat" was mixed by the very Andrew Jansen. Although Spaceport has three core members, anticipate more instrumentation for this upcoming show.
Planet Which will do a heavily improvised, drone-heavy set to open the night. An iteration of the more widely known, Don Quis, Planet Which formed as a result of the core songwriter leaving the group in the midst of making an EP. The EP is coming out this fall under Don Quis. In the meantime, here Planet Which jams out and drones for the first time in front of an audience at Bryant Lake Bowl Theater.
