Join us for this special karaoke edition of Life Support, featuring a live band ready to rock out to the emo-punk hits of the 2000's! Break out your eyeliner, lace up your converse, and get ready to revel in teenage angst while you enjoy the full kitchen and bar of Bryant Lake Bowl.

Life Support is a monthly cabaret of performances from up and coming Twin Cities comedians, bands, musicians, and drag performers. With a rotating theme and cast of performers, no show is the same, so come next month for a completely unique night of invigorating entertainment!

Produced by Alex Church and Shannon Maroney. Proceeds go towards funding the development of an original musical written by the producers. 

Alex Church (He/Him) is a Minneapolis-based theater artist and comedian who can be found around town doing just about anything. He was a founding member of the sketch comedy group Fool's Errand, currently performing at Strike Theater, a member of Minnesota Long-Form Improv for 5 years, and a writer and Featured Actor with What's Next’s Sex Ed: A Sexprov! at the Phoenix Theater. Shannon Maroney (They/Them) is a musician, performer, and composer based in Minneapolis, MN (@shan.maroney). A veteran of their local music scene, they have performed at historic venues such as First Avenue’s Mainroom, Fine Line, 7th Street Entry, and Turf Club in their permanent projects, bugsy and Allergen, as well as through being a freelance musician as a fill-in member. Experienced in both classical and contemporary musical technique and writing, their work has lead them to accomplishments such as being apart of the City Page’s Best New Bands of 2020, First Avenue’s Best New Bands of 2022, a member of the 2017-18 MMEA All State Mixed Choir, and reaching large audiences through social media presence. Maroney enjoys writing from personal experiences, and their music and lyricism has been described as, “a private conversation being broadcast to the world.”
