Last Action Movie Improvisation is a local troupe in Minneapolis, MN, which started over a decade ago out of a workshop from Brave New Workshop. They studied basic fight choreography, and began mixing it with improvisation to tell stories. They use other techniques to paint the picture of the stage for the audience. Last Action Movie has not only performed in multiple places in Minneapolis, such as at Brave New Workshop, HUGE Theater, Phoenix Theatre, and most recently Gremlin Theatre; they have also performed around the US and Canada in multiple festivals including the famed Second City. 

Last Action Movie has spent most of their improvisation time performing a narrative style action movie, usually in their original time-bending form called The Heist. Last Action Movie is returning to the Bryant lake bowl through the month of Sept. on Fridays at 7pm, where they will be debuting a new original form called Book Club. This is a real time performance that takes place in one location where Last Action Movie combines their narrative stylings to a book club atmosphere.
