Join us for the Minnesota premiere of “A Blue Morning: Conversations Among Artists on Parenthood,” a 24-minute short film by Allegra Oxborough.
Verdant mid-summer Minneapolis is the backdrop for this single-day, elliptical docu-fiction following thirty-something artists facing the realities of work and parenthood. The ensemble non-actor cast of local artists includes Leslie Barlow, Aaron Rice, and members of Fort Wilson Riot.
Following the film, Susannah Schouweiler will moderate a 30-minute discussion at the intersection of artisthood and parenthood, featuring a panel of six local artists:
Sayge Carroll, Souliyahn Keobounpheng, Tia Keobounpheng, Oogie Push, Justin Schaack, and Kristin Schaack.
