It's the Tain Bo Cuailnge! What's a Tain Bo Cuailnge? From the old Irish, Tain, meaning raid, bo, meaning cattle, and Cuailnge...Cuailnge is a proper name. The name of a cow, a really big cow, and we're going to steal him. It's the Tain Bo Cuailnge! There are many Tains, but this one is about Cuchulainn, the very murdery god-hero of the ancient Celts. Connor's gonna tell: The Tain Bo Cuailnge won the Redlock's Award at the MN Fringe Festival in 2022 and was hailed as 'Simply brilliant. A master class in both execution and analysis of the long-form epic storytelling that humans are shaped by and rely on to stay sane. Add to this that the storyteller shaping this story is also a well-researched comic dramaturgist nimbly dancing in and out of informative aside.' Come, grab a drink and listen to this most ancient and epic tale.
