A year-end salute to 2012, one of the greatest years of all time. We'll be bringing back a tiny percentage of our favorite Salon Saloon guests from the past year to assemble, for the third time, the SALON SALOON HEAVY 100. In an unprecedented move, the list will unfold over the course of two back-to-back Friday night shows: the first fifty in an early 7 p.m. show, and the final fifty in a late 10 p.m. show. The HEAVY 100 in its entirety showcases "the year’s most notable achievements in all fields of human endeavor, as selected by our guests and staff."

Many others will give you year-end lists, but few will take the time to give you a full one hundred superlatives, and fewer yet will insist on revealing them over the course of several boozy, darkened hours. More details soon!
